Body Contouring

Body Contouring at our clinic utilizes Acoustic or Radial Wave Therapy, formally known as EPAT (extracorporeal pulse activated treatment). This evidence-based treatment induces long-lasting change using your body's own collagen production, and it doesn't require surgery, anesthesia, or pain medication!

What to expect

Treatment sessions generally take about 30 min depending on the size of the area to be treated. Treatments have three steps. The V-Actor readies the area for treatment. The Acoustic Pressure Waves then treat the area. The V-Actor is passed over the area after the treatment to reduce any edema or swelling in the area to speed healing.

Treatment areas include stomach, upper arms, gluteal region, and thighs. Treatment indications are loose skin, cellulite, and stretch marks.

Recommended treatment length is at least six but 12 treatments are ideal. In a pilot study, patients noticed an improvement in their skin after 2.5 sessions.
