Frequently Asked Questions
Avoid NSAIDs such as Tylenol and Motrin for 48 hours before and after treatment if possible. The goal of this treatment is to create inflammation to allow for healing and these medications will decrease this reaction.
Blood thinners are not contraindicated but large areas of bruising can develop. This will go away but is expected after this treatment.
Therapy is tailored to each patient. Areas that are more bony may experience more pain. Adjustments in delivery of therapy can be made to accommodate for pain.
